For the 2016 edition of the FADEx Program, the Office for Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in the United States is organizing a seminar on Nanoparticles for Medicine for French and US Ph.D. students. The objective of the seminar is to enhance scientific exchanges between young researchers, increase mutual awareness of laboratories of excellence in this field and to possibly trigger collaborations between American and French laboratories.
The 2-day seminar will take place at Clinatec in Grenoble, France in March 2016. This seminar will give the Ph.D. students the opportunity to present their work to their peers and discuss their results freely. English will be the working language. Moreover, the seminar will also include four lectures by experts in the field and will be followed by 3 days of visits to state-of-the-art French laboratories and companies working on nanomedicine. 10 Ph.D. students enrolled in an American university will be able to participate in this post-graduate seminar and will be selected according to their level of excellence.
