Open post-doctoral position (18 months) Industrial Project

  • Applicant profile:
You hold a PhD in (bio)organic, polymer or physical-chemistry.

You have a strong interest in a research topic at the interface of chemistry, physical chemistry, and biology, in direct collaboration with industrial partner.

You enjoy working in a team to contribute to a scientific project with scientific rigor.
You have an advanced knowledge in the characterization of peptides or formulations of nanosystems.

  • Application:
Send a CV and a motivation letter to Pr Patrick Saulnier (
    patrick.saulnier@univ-angers.fr).
After a first selection round, the best candidates will be invited for a job interview. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to start in the first trimester of 2022.

  • Project summary:
Characterization and formulation of peptides for agricultural application by foliar spraying.

The study to carry out at the
MINT laboratory (University of Angers, France), in collaboration with the company Micropep (Toulouse, France), will focus on the characterization of the properties of peptides nanoformulations intended for an agricultural application.
The mission will consist in developing and preparing peptide formulations, characterizing them before and after spraying in order to simulate the agricultural practices of using foliar treatment products.

Characterization techniques may include, but are not limited to, partition coefficient measurements, spectrophotometric aggregation concentration, surface tension, zetametry, DLS, MALS, Tangential Filtration, MS/MS mass spectrometry)
